Traditional Media vs. New Media

How do you think this concept or theory works in your intended industry?

For this theory, we have seen that media can have a very powerful ef­fect on society. I believe this theory is valid because as a designer we want to connect our creation in the new media because people want instant gratification. 

Yes for example again is my Jeremy Lin Project. If I had to publish this in a paper and wait for a TV commercial or Radio ad I have to wait and pay companies to spread my artwork, but in the new media I can control my content there’s no limitations on what I can do and its instant and people can comment on my work and give me suggestion. It is also interactive which make people involve with my piece

It will work in my industry because as a designer we want to communicate with our audience as fast as possible and the easier access to the media the better the artwork can go out there because it can be seen by millions of people in the internet. There is no limitation
